I choose to be a primary care provider because I feel it is the best way for me to help people. I am passionate about providing education to help my patient’s better understand their health. In your opinion, what should be the role of a primary care provider for a patient, taking into account both physical health and behavioral health needs? A primary care provider’s role is to be there for their patient’s physical and behavioral health needs. Both when they are sick, to provide acute care and when they are healthy, keeping them up to date on preventative measures. When treatment is necessary, it is a primary care provider’s role to help their patients understand the options and choose the treatment plan that fits them best. Tell us a little bit about yourself. What do you like to do in your spare time? I recently moved to the DC area. In my spare time I like to hangout with my family and friends, garden, play board games and make art. My most recent art project is trying stained glass.
